Pietersite is a variety of Quartz, composed naturally of Hawk's Eye, Tiger's eye and Jasper and is characterised by an incredible chatoyancy and brilliance of life within the stone. These lovely hook thru dangle earrings are made from swirling greys and browns, full of drama and extremely elegant.

Lovely darkish coloured blue stone - much darker than blue kyanites we've come across before although the name kyanite probably originates from the greek for cyan - dark greenish blue.

I love the shape of this pendant - somehow the oblong suits the long crystalline cut of the stone and feels contemporary.
