Ammolite has a wonderful iridescence and so these beauties catch the light as they move and display an array of rainbow hues. A biogenic gemstone, originating from the nacre (inside of shells) from ancient marine ammonites from around 71 million years ago!!! Found only in Western Canada, it's very rare.

A biogenic gemstone, made from the nacre (inside of shells) from ancient ammonites. These were prehistoric marine fossils from around 71 million years ago! Only found in the Bearpaw Formation, Alberta, Canada, Ammolite is an incredibly rare gem.
There is an incredible iridescence to this lovely pendant, full of rainbow colours.
